Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is designed for weaker individuals and gives them the skills to defend themselves against larger and stronger opponents. We feel it is important to come experience the Gracie Training Center so you can be at ease about learning the techniques and how they are taught. Other schools let you try a free class, and then ask you to sign up right away. We prefer that you try as many classes as you like for a full 10 consecutive calendar days to see if Gracie Jiu-Jitsu works for you and fits your schedule. After 10 days, if you decide it’s not for you, simply let us know and that’s it – you don’t pay a penny! If after 10 days you decide you’d like to continue, we’ll be happy to help you choose a program that works for you.

All lessons are taught to the exacting standards of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. All Gracie Academy Certified Instructors complete a rigorous Instructor Certification Program with live evaluation at Gracie Academy HQ in Torrance, CA by Gracie family members in person. For a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Instructor, the onus lies on them to ensure that the student learns not the other way around. No traditional “hard teaching methods” or “discipline” are employed in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and you will never feel lost, left out or left behind.
